2017 National Culture Awards

Creativity as a true symbol

The CoNCA commissioned us to do the visual identity for the National Culture Awards. The challenge consisted of giving an identity that could work in successive yearly editions and on different supports (programme handouts, invitations, diplomas, press communication, accreditations, etc.).

To facilitate its introduction and the flexibility that would enable its duration, we proposed the creation of a system that took basic elements such as typeface, shapes and colours as the solution to the visual identity. The basic shapes come from the double “C” of the trophy that is awarded, and the colours are those that will mark the difference in other editions, based on two main colours. In this edition, one of them is given by the material itself.
